If you are looking into selling on Ebay, you probably already know that you need to have at least 10 feedbacks to list anything but an auction. Listing an auction to sell things around your house is a great way to achieve feedback, but it does take quite a bit of time. First you list the item and then wait for a buyer. Then you wait for the buyer to pay for the item and this could be days or weeks. Even if you package and ship it as quickly as possible, shipping takes another three to five days. Once the buyer receives it, hopefully they will leave you feedback, but that’s not guaranteed. The end results for one feedback is a couple weeks.

I learned the hard way to get 10 feedback, only to find out that I needed 15 to list a “buy it now” item with more than one quantity. I was trying to start a business and it was not going anywhere fast!

I have learned a few secrets that I will share with you to help you get your ebay feedback quick and cheap in less than a couple days.

The best way to do it is to find “buy it now” listings for ebooks or recipes that can be emailed to you. These kind of transactions can be done in one day and you get your feedback. You can look for things that you are interested in purchasing or you can just buy it too receive feedback. It is realistic to get 10 feedback for between $10 and $20 dollars total. The best part about it is you can get it quickly.

Feedback is to let other buyers or sellers know whether you will follow through with a sale and smoothly you will do it. They can leave their comments of how great or terrible you were as a buyer or seller. You can see why it is important. These tips will help you get your feedback quickly and honestly, because you are purchasing something. Some will choose to try to scam the system, but if you are caught, your paypal account can be frozen and your ebay account can be shut. It’s just not worth it if you ask me.

“Buy it now” listings are as cheap as $.99, but that is the lowest that ebay will let you list it at. Auctions can be only .01 cent, but they take longer and you have to wait for them to close and after everyone bids on them, you end up paying quite a bit more because everyone wants them.

Log into ebay and search for recipes. Then click on the “Buy IT Now” only listings. You can also put in a dollar amount, so that it will only show you the ones for under the cost that you want to spend. Don’t limit yourself too much though, because you might not find as many as you need. It is best to put in about $2.00. You are sure to find plenty of great recipes such as peanut butter rice crispies, taco soup, or pizza sandwiches, but make sure that you do not buy more than 1 of the same item. Ebay does not let you receive more than 1 feedback from the same item.

The best deals have free shipping. They will most likely be emailing it instead of sending it in the mail. Watch out for items that are cheap, but you have to pay the shipping. Don’t be fooled! They will most likely charge an inflated shipping to make more money.

I hope these tips will help you get a good start at your ebay feedback. Try these and use my experience to help you get further ahead in a short time.  Good luck and happy selling.

Setting up an eBay About Me Page is crucial to laying a good foundation for eBay selling and becoming a credible source to buy from on eBay; do not overlook this powerful resource. Two important concepts will be discussed in this article, benefits of creating an eBay about me page and how to set up an eBay about me page.

Benefits of having an eBay about me page

There are many ways a person can find an eBay About Me Page. The one focused on in this article appears on the auction page. It is good to have this information appear on each auction so that bidders can look at the About Me Page and see that the purchase they are making is credible. The buyers will most likely look at the amount of feedback and the percentage of positive feedback received, along with exploring additional icons which appear. If someone has created an About Me page, a small, red and blue me icon will appear. Many bidders click on this icon to make sure they are not becoming part of a scam. Having the About Me Page may create more credibility than those who have not created one.

One reason why the eBay About Me Page is crucial is that it is the only place on eBay where a link to another page may be provided. If a link is placed on an auction page, more than likely that auction will be pulled. The About Me Page is given to each eBay user to write a little bit about their company and provide links.

To start off, write a brief mission statement and explain why someone should buy the product. This is all you need to get the little me icon to appear on auctions. By doing this, you are setting yourself apart from the other auctions out there.

How to set up a page of your own

Once the eBay account has been created, go to the Google home page and sign in. From there, go up to the upper right hand corner and click on community, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click create an about me page. Put in the username and password to confirm your identity. Another screen will come up telling why eBay thinks the page is so beneficial.

Taking this action may cause you to become lined up with other business contacts and other customers. When these people come onto the page and see that a certain item is being sold, they may want to make a purchase. If you tell them you are set up with certain suppliers, you may become their go-to source for the product.

Remember, the About Me Page will help build trust and confidence and allow the me icon to appear. Once this is done, get started selling. Later, much more may be added to your page like listings and recent feedback.

The main goal is to try and skim as much traffic as possible from eBay and the About Me Page and push it toward your website. If you do not have a website and you are just focusing on eBay, your eBay About Me Page is a great way to drum up extra business.

Then click on create your page. Once it loads, more options are given; go through and arrange paragraphs and information as wished. Do very basic, simple information. When the next page comes up you can either use their step by step process or enter in HTML code. We will be doing the step by step process.

Down at the bottom where it says add links go though and add the links. Once the information is put in, choose a layout and click submit; the me icon will now appear on the auction page.

The great thing about this industry is that it is always changing. For more information please follow the links provided. Nicholas Tan asked:

When you buy things on eBay, you pay the seller before they send you anything. This means that you, as a buyer, are vulnerable to all sorts of problems. You might not get the items you have paid for, or they might be damaged or faulty. Luckily, you have two very important rights when you buy on eBay.

The Right to Receive Your Item.

Maybe the seller never sent the item, or maybe it got lost in the post. Whatever happened, you paid for the item. If it doesn’t arrive in the post as described, you have the right to a replacement or a refund, whether it’s the seller’s fault or not.

The fact that you bought something on eBay doesn’t mean that you don’t have the exact same rights that you would have if you bought it in a shop (these rights are pretty much the same all over the world). Plus, under eBay’s rules, the seller isn’t allowed to change their mind about selling you the item: once the auction ends, it becomes a contract - you must buy and they must sell, or face eBay’s penalties.

The Right for Your Item to Be as Described in the Auction.

Sometimes sellers don’t wrap items properly, and so they get broken. Occasionally they write descriptions that are misleading or just plain wrong to begin with, leaving out vital details that would have caused you to change your mind about buying. If this happens to you, you again have the right to a replacement or a refund.

So How Do I Use My Rights?

First, you should take it up with the seller - most will be responsive, as do not want to have their reputation damaged when an upset buyer leaves negative feedback for all their future buyers to see. If that doesn’t work, report them to eBay.

While eBay don’t have many people handling complaints, they do have a relatively effective set of automatic process to handle common problems buyers and sellers have with one another.

Finally, if that doesn’t work, then you should seek advice from consumer groups in your country, and as a last resort from the police. You should never have to get this far, though: problems on eBay that can’t be resolved easily are extremely rare.

Don’t Be Too Quick.

Remember not to get too annoyed and be unfair to the seller: nice sellers have agreed to give me refunds for undelivered items, only for me to find out a few weeks later that they were being held for me at the post office! Always try your best to communicate and think of everything that might have gone wrong: eBay works best when buyers and sellers sort out their problems together, instead of reporting each other to the authorities straight away.

More often that not receiving what they paid for, buyers have an altogether different problem: they knew what they were paying for, but didn’t realise that what they were paying for was overpriced, low quality or a scam. The next email will give you a list of tips on how to avoid being ripped off on eBay.
